Main Capital Partners acquires Viking Growth portfolio company Xait
Viking Growth is pleased to announce the sale of Xait, a leading Norwegian software provider specializing in collaborative document solutions and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) services, to international private equity investor Main Capital Partners.

Xait is a provider of collaborative document solutions, offering advanced document creation and CPQ services to a predominantly blue-chip client base. The company’s offering comprises three core products supporting the sales enablement value chain. Xait currently serves more than 300 clients broadly split into energy and renewables, capital goods, and business services, with the majority of revenues coming from outside of the Nordics.
Grown the business 5 times
Xait has a well-established international presence, with a strong foothold in Western Europe and the United States, supported by an international team located in Norway, France, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Xait was founded by Owe Lie-Bjelland and Arnt J. Andreassen in Stavanger in 2000. Viking Growth first invested in 2016.
– During our ownership period we have grown the business fivefold, built a professional organization and management team, and developed Xait into an international category leader. We have done several acquisitions, added new products and are approaching NOK 200 million in Annual Recurring Revenue. Now is the right time to exit the company and welcome Main Capital Partners as the new main investor, commented Eivind Bergsmyr, partner at Viking Growth and outgoing chairman of the board of Xait.
