Jostein Vik is a Partner and co-founder of Viking Growth and has more than 20 years of experience building and scaling Nordic software companies. As part of the Viking team, he has played a central role in developing high-performing software businesses across RegTech, CFO office, financial technology, field service management and digital asset management.

His background spans extensive work in business development, M&A, and corporate strategy, built through leading board of directors in Nordic software companies. This strategic foundation is complemented by a strong focus on commercial execution, where he works closely with management teams to refine sales strategy, strengthen pipelines, optimize pricing, and develop effective organizational structures and incentive frameworks.

In addition to his operational experience, Jostein has served as Chairperson for publicly listed software companies in Norway, Denmark, and Finland, leading several public-to-private processes across these markets.

Outside of work, Jostein enjoys keeping active, golfing in the summer and turning to padel and skiing—downhill and cross-country—through the winter months

He has lived and worked in US, Sweden and Norway, and holds an Masters degree from the BI Norwegian Business School.
