Joar Welde is a Partner at Viking Growth and has spent more than 20 years scaling Nordics software companies globally. As part of the Viking team, he has built multiple market-leading software businesses through organic growth and M&A, and successfully led exits to tier-1 private equity firms.

Joar has served as Chairperson for several portfolio companies, taken software businesses public, and chaired listed companies. He is responsible for deal sourcing at Viking and has led major equity, debt, and fund-raising processes.

He has lived and worked in both the US and the UK, and holds an MBA from the University of Warwick and a BBA from BI Norwegian Business School.
