Elise Melhus

Elise is the Finance and Compliance Manager at Viking Growth, overseeing internal and external financial reporting, financial controls, fund finance, and fund administration.

In her role, she works closely with investors and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency, robust financial processes, and effective capital management. She plays a key role in supporting Viking Growth’s investment activities through disciplined financial oversight, structured reporting, and high-risk and compliance practices, contributing to the firm’s long-term performance and credibility.

Prior to joining Viking Growth, Elise worked with equity fundraising and financial due diligence for early-stage companies. She also has experience as an auditor at KPMG and as a consultant at EY, where she developed broad expertise in accounting, internal controls, process improvements, and financial reporting across industries.

Elise holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with exchange studies at Leeds Beckett University and UC Berkeley. During her time at UC Berkeley, she also completed an internship at a Silicon Valley startup.
