Elise Melhus

Elise is Chief Financial Officer at Viking Growth, where she is responsible for the firm’s financial strategy and operations. Her responsibilities include fund finance, fund administration, financial controls, and internal and external financial reporting.

She plays a key role in supporting Viking Growth’s investment activities through disciplined financial oversight, structured reporting, and effective capital management. In her role, she works closely with investors and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and robust financial processes. Elise is also responsible for compliance and risk management within the firm.

Prior to joining Viking Growth, Elise worked with equity fundraising for early-stage companies. She also has experience as an auditor at KPMG and as a consultant at EY, where she developed broad expertise in accounting, internal controls, process improvements, and financial reporting across industries.

Elise holds an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), with exchange studies at Leeds Beckett University and UC Berkeley.
