Andreas Davies Sandbu

Andreas is an Investment Director at Viking Growth, where he focuses on supporting and developing Nordic software scale-ups. He is actively involved in both portfolio development and deal sourcing, working closely with founders and management teams to drive growth and operational improvements across the firm’s investments.

He previously led the Operational Excellence team at Viking Growth, where he played a central role in supporting B2B SaaS companies in scaling their businesses. Through this work, he developed deep expertise in go-to-market strategies, operational scaling, and value creation initiatives tailored to high-growth software companies.

Prior to joining Viking Growth, Andreas was a Project Leader at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he advised clients on a wide range of strategic and operational topics across industries. His consulting experience provided him with a strong analytical foundation and a structured approach to solving complex business challenges.

Andreas brings an international perspective to his work, having lived and worked in more than five countries. He holds an MSc in Industrial Economics and Technology Management and a BSc in Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and spent a year at Harvard University as part of his graduate studies.
