Eivind Bergsmyr

Eivind is a Partner at Viking Growth, bringing a broad industry background that enables him to combine strategic insight with hands-on operational experience. He has lived and worked in the United States, adding an international perspective to his work with Nordic software companies.

Eivind is known for his entrepreneurial mindset and has extensive experience building and scaling companies. Prior to joining Viking Growth, he played an instrumental role in the success of Nacre AS, a former Viking Growth portfolio company. As CEO, he led the company from a Norwegian start-up to a global market leader in communication and hearing protection headsets for defense, security, and industrial markets.

Under his leadership, Nacre achieved significant international growth and was successfully sold to Honeywell for USD 125 million in 2007. The transaction was recognized as Nordic Venture Exit of the Year by the Nordic Unquote Private Equity Awards.

Eivind holds an MSc in Electronics Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). He has also completed additional education at the Norwegian Business School (BI), including MBA-level management training and venture capital education.
